How to be more productive with the Pomodoro Technique

The “Pomodoro Technique” is a fabulous way to work in tiny, bite-sized chunks, increasing your focus on the task-at-hand. You only need to work for a continuous 25 minute period, and you then get rewarded with a 5 minute break to recharge and re-energise in preparation for the next focused 25 minute period.

It’s another helpful tool that can help you overcome procrastination.

I also love this technique because it reminds me to stand up every half an hour and walk around the Office for a few minutes, rather than being glued to my seat and screen. (Sitting is the new smoking!) Give it a try, even for a shorter 15 minute power-Pomodoro session, to get yourself into the habit of working this way.

Check out the following article that elaborates on the Pomodoro Technique, and how to gradually introduce it into your life.
