Laughter is the Best Medicine!

Let’s face it – the world has gone kind of mad.

Wherever you turn, there are headlines screaming at you about all the negative and scary things happening in the world. Watching the 6pm news every night is enough to make you want to cry!

Instead of crying, I recommend trying LAUGHTER instead. Laughter is the perfect antidote to all the negativity sweeping the world. Some people go to laughter clubs. Others go to Comedy Clubs. In fact, there are countless ways to bring more laughter into your life!

LAUGHTER feels great and is wonderful for our health. When we laugh, the body naturally releases feel-good endorphin hormones. There are multiple benefits besides feeling wonderful. Benefits including a drop in blood pressure, an enhanced immune system to fight infections and an improvement in your cardiovascular health.

At home, we have a huge collection of comedy DVD’s (remember them??). We have viewed some of them multiple times. They STILL make us laugh – even on the 5thviewing! 

Every evening after dinner my husband and I make a point of watching 30 minutes of Comedy.

It’s the perfect way to end the day – on a POSTIVE and UPLIFTING note.

And remember the saying: You don’t stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing.
